This was the first year of Gilbert (Mysto Manufacturing Company) Erector Sets. The manual, girders, many other parts and the box top lithograph were unique to this year. The pulleys and gears had to be assembled. Pieces were snapped into a hub. Small parts were kept in cardboard boxes. The rest of the parts were held to a cardboard insert with T-clips.
